Sometimes people ask where I find inspiration for my stories and poems. While my own observations do shape my writing to some extent, I am more influenced by how other people experience the world…especially young children. Their intuitive, sometimes startling perspectives can breathe life into a story with a single thought. The ideas are everywhere. You just need to listen with your heart.
