All I want for Christmas is to nrael how to reab!

A young boy struggles to write his Christmas letter to Santa.  Desperate, he finally pens these words:  “All I want for Christmas is to nreal how to reab!”  Can St. Nick grant his wish? Follow the boy’s magical journey into literacy, and find out for yourself! 

This inspirational story has been published in Reading Today and Christmas Miracles (St. Martin’s Press). It was performed live at the International Reading Association’s 24th Southeast Regional Conference in New Orleans: Liberty through Literacy.  The story has wide market appeal and resonates with struggling readers, teachers and parents alike.
